In-Home Lactation Consultation

90 minutes

Here's what a home consult is like:

You get to stay home in your jammies with your baby and partner. I come to your home (and I don't expect the dishes to be done, refreshments, or for you to be a hostess).

I will help you get comfortable and cozy in your house, your bed or your nursing chair with your pillows, and your gear.

Office Lactation Consultation

90 Minutes

I have comfortable chairs, pillows and a foot stool. This is where you learn to lean back, relax and help your baby nurse effectively.

I encourage your partner and/or other supportive family to come with you. It's a nourishing, nurturing hour and a half with information and coaching that is appropriate to you and your baby's needs and learning style.

If you need nursing bras, I fit and sell those in my office, as well.

It is 5 minutes from the New Paltz Thruway exit.

Telehealth Lactation Consultation

90 Minutes

Let’s get you latching your baby, pumping your milk, weaning, wearing your baby, making more milk, making less milk, or working out work problems safely, effectively and enjoyably.

Snuggle into a comfy chair, lean back, and relax. I encourage your partner and/or other supportive family to join in, if they can. It's a nourishing, nurturing hour and a half with information and coaching that is appropriate to you and your baby's needs and learning style.

This is not like that telehealth consult you had that one time.

This is human connection in a very safe way: hands-off, germ-free, personable, heartwarming and effective. I can honestly say you will be happier and feeling more knowledgable your situation after our appointment.

Ella B.

My son was born with a lip and tongue time, and even after his procedure, nursing was extremely painful. I would cry and clench my fists during every feeding, staring at the timer until 20 minutes were up so I could give myself permission to unlatch my son. Feeding him was a huge burden and caused me a great deal of anxiety because of how much it hurt.

I worked with Donna during the first few months of my son's life. I went from dreading nursing, to nursing on demand thanks to her support.
