This consultation is for parents who are full or part-time bottle feeding their baby. 

Available for home, office, telehealth.

1. You will learn how to safely store and prepare formula, fresh or frozen breastmilk and/or donor breastmilk. 

2. You will learn best practices for cleaning and sanitizing bottles and accessories 

3. You will be guided through bottle feeding your baby. You will learn:

  • What bottles are best for proper oral development
  • How much breastmilk and/or formula your baby needs 
  • How to latch your baby onto a bottle
  • Paced bottle feeding to create good eating habits
  • Bottle feeding positions for bonding and communication
  • The importance of skin-to-skin contact
  • Gentle and effective burping techniques
  • How to reduce and treat gas and colic
  • Distinguishing between hunger and a need for comforting
  • When and why to use a pacifier

My son was born with a lip and tongue time, and even after his procedure, nursing was extremely painful.
